I am soooo looking forward to having a long weekend due to Easter it isn't funny. Although I feel I have regained a little more control over my workflow, work is still so busy and thus today I figure I may as well leave early and start my long weekend off on a positive light, so I shan't be here for much longer indeed!
Once again my life outside of work is rather limited. However, last weekend Ivan and I did go to Darren's place for a LAN which was heaps of fun. Ofcourse, I came last in the Racedriver 2, and ofcourse I remained middle of the pack in Tiger Woods Golf, but I had hoped to do better in F.E.A.R than the third place I got, damn Shane and his actual practising of the game. Damn him!! We played a few other games throughout the night to keep things fresh and I must say I can't think of a single thing where I thought it wasn't that good. Well done to Darren for making the night fun as always!
Those sorts of nights can wipe you though, especially when you get to bed at 4am, and so my weekend was no more constructive than that. This weekend I am really looking forward to some time at home, as I can barely get myself out of bed to come to work these days. Tomorrow I'll probably go to church with Mum and Grandma and then on Saturday we're having lunch with my family, so the rest of the weekend I hope to catch up on some reading and TV shows and perhaps do some housework (things are looking a bit on the gross side). Yeah I know it's not at all exciting but you're the sucker reading this :P
Happy Easter everyone :)
Since 2003 this Blog was known as Mel's Random Ramblings, but due to the word "random" being the latest buzz word with people's Blogs I decided that 2007 required a new name. Therefore, behold, A Call From The Wild*! Surely no one would ever take that title, would they? Anywho, the idea behind the blog hasn't changed. This is still just a place for me to vent, communicate, write about all kinds of junk, and so forth. Happy browsing! *Name may change again without notice.
Exciting times is just a state of mind. I actually enjoyed ambling through your rambling.
