Moving on and moving out

So much has happened in recent times I am not really sure what to include in the Blog. I guess I'll include the big things for now and flesh things out another time.

Ivan and I have cancelled our holiday to Japan and NYC. On the one hand I am bummed because it was my dream trip and also we lost a fair bit of money not thinking of not going before we'd paid for everything. On the other hand it is good we're not going for many reasons. I think I will keep my time off work though and am looking at going to Queensland for a few weeks instead, to not only visit my family and go to my cousin's wedding but also to go and see Glen for a bit. It gives me something to still look forward to over Christmas, even if it is closer to home.

Ivan on a whim last Thursday morning woke up and decided to fly to Okinawa for a few days to meet a girl. Things went really well for him and he is really happy at the moment, for which I am glad. I'm actually looking forward to meeting her as she sounds really nice.

Also at around that time I moved out and now have a new housemate. This being the second week and I am feeling more at home than I did last week. It's a pretty cool arrangement and my housemate is pretty easy to live with so I really can't complain.

Work has been extremely busy of late and for a time there it was stressing me out greatly due to everything else going on in my life but things are starting to return to normal in that regard too.

Normal - an interesting choice of word. Nothing actually feels "normal" anymore but rather, it is back into a routine I suppose you could say, and that is probably a good thing.

As a closing, I have [foolishly] signed up for Bootcamp with the gym which starts at the end of this month. It'll be very hard I'm sure but it'll be good to focus on something healthy. I am drinking far too many beers of late...

Im seeing a personal trainer for my 12 week challenge and she tortures me soooo bad! But im seeing results and the weight is coming down so it is a good thing!

  3. Wow, bootcamp. Good luck with that, no way I'm going to do that again! Do stick with it, it seems like hell while you're doing it but you come out of it better.

Queensland is cool, sure you'll enjoy it
